Gift of Fish Project
The Gift of Fish project (walleye fingerlings) was completed in the fall of 2008. The results are as follows:

The total number of fingerlings stocked was 19,364 or 27 walleye fingerlings per acre. The total cost was $27,752 and we have $720.61 left in the project account.
We wish to thank all the members who contributed, and we thank Walleyes for Northwest Wisconsin for donating $1585 in 2006, $2000 in 2007, and $2000 in 2008. Also the Lac Court d’Orielles Hatchery for donating $782 worth of fingerlings in 2006. Finally, a big thanks to Bob Hansen for organizing the project and doing most of the work; Bob is our Association president and lives on Muskie Bay.
